Director's Welcome,

The Pinecrest Academy of Nevada band program has set in motion a plan to grow into one of the premier band programs in our region. With the focus on whole student growth, the program uses instrument instruction as a vessel to teach life skills and create highly successful members of society as they grow beyond our program. Instrumental music fosters growth in individuals that translates to many other areas of academics and community involvement. Each student, through the program's instruction, will be provided the skills to be self sufficient, highly disciplined, and community conscious.

Our goal is to create a new standard in the area of music education for the Southern Nevada region.  To achieve this we must supply the students with not only the opportunities for growth, but the tools needed to reach that goal. Each year will be measured, as well as celebrated, from the individual efforts of each student and how that effort impacts a larger community.
