Pinecrest Academy Cadence Bands
​
The Pinecrest Academy of Nevada - Cadence is a K-12 public charter in Henderson, NV. Band is offered at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced level. As our students enter the middle school grades of our school we offer the opportunity to join our beginning or intermediate bands. This band performs primarily as a concert band. Our high school concert band, or advanced band is available for students that have successfully completed two years of instrumental music instruction. Bands are placed by audition and approval from the band director.

The Cadence bands perform a number of concerts each semester. Each semesters ends with a seasonal concert to celebrate the progress the students have made individually and as an ensemble.
Marching Band

The Pinecrest Cadence Marching Band will enter its first year of competition in the fall of 2018. We are currently in the design and development stages to ensure that the students have an amazing experience.
Colorguard - Winterguard - Indoor Drumline
​
Pinecrest Cadence pageantry ensembles are a new opportunity for our students. The pageantry arts is one of the fastest growing performance opportunities for the marching arts. Students learn and perform a 4 to 6 minute performances that is similar to marching band but in a gym. This activity allows smaller schools the opportunity to participate in the pageantry arts and be competitive.

This activity not only develops the students music instrument abilities it also allows students a chance to experience other performance styles like theater and dance, all while playing their instrument or colorguard equipment.
Percussion Ensemble​
​
At the high school level we offer a separate percussion ensemble class. This class expands the percussion experience through different styles and techniques. This ensemble performs for many school functions as well as the seasonal concerts.
